Third shot: evaluation, contact sheet and final picture

For my third influence I have chosen Ernst Haas. He has taken some pictures, which showed never before seen aspects of the photograph by intentionally blurry admissions with extreme color contrasts causes by partially overlaid film material.

The picture on the right side is showing a car race in Indianapolis. I think Haas wanted to capture the speed of the cars. I really like the way how the colors fit together. This picture is one of his sports report series 'The Magic of Colors in Motion".

In this shot I tried to retake some pictures of moving motives, with focusing on the colors of the pictures.

I’ve taken this pictures during my trip to London. Still in the pre-christmas time it was to expect that I’ll find lots of moving objects in London’s Winter Wonderland. So I went there with some friends and had a lot of fun. Between one attraction and another I have made some pictures of them. I tried to capture the happy faces of the people around me, which I’ve missed while I was watching the stressed people when I was taking the pictures for my second shot.

In this shot I tried again to capture the happiness of people. All the pictures I have taken with a relative long exposure. (1/13 - 1/20 seconds)

In my opinion pictures 2, 10 and 12 worked the best, because the composition looks the nicest and you can see the happiness of the children and adults.

If you look long enough on picture 2, you can got very confused - it happened to me while I was editing the picture.

Picture 2

Picture 10

Picture 12

In pictures 5 and 6 is too much action and you can not focus well a single object. Picture 7 is to overexposed. In some of the pictures from 8-12 i have moved the camera too slow/fast

Picture 12 captured the most the expression of the people which I initially wanted to capture: Some people in a group having a lot of fun. I have deleted the barrier with Photoshop from the first picture. I have changed the colors lightly and made them more intensive or better said, abstracter.

Both final pictures I have cropped a little bit, and also on the second picture I played around with the colors, until it got 'warmer'.

Here are the final outcomes.
